Today we used the puppets we made last week to make up stories that we shared with our friends.

Love! This ideas is something that allows students to be engaged and interested in a story that would have meaning to them. I am a student teacher at Brandon University and am always looking for neat ways to allow students to be the most creative that they can be!
I love the puppet idea! I am a college student studying childhood education/special education. Last week we worked on book acting with students. We has a small group act out the book we read with props after we read it. Puppets are definitely something I would tie into this activity in a future lesson. Allowing students to make puppets to express their understanding of characters is beneficial in my opinion!
