First Nations Artifacts
One of the highlights of our First Nations inquiry has been the opportunity to see someFirst Nations artifacts. Today’s activity was deciding if the items were tools or toys.
Learning with Green Screens
We’ve just completed our First Nations learning and to sum up what he or she knows, each child made a video which is now posted on their blog. Check them out and leave a comment!

More First Nation Learning
This week our class has been exploring some First Nation artifacts.
We also watched a Discovery Education Live Stream from a First Nations classroom in northern Saskatchewan. While we watched, the students tweeted questions and observations that they had. Some other classes were tweeting about what they saw and wondered at the same time. Because we were all using the same hashtag, we were able to put all of the classrooms’ tweets together in a Storify.
Learning About First Nations
Today Barb Frazer, an Indigenous Knowledge Systems Educator, came to answer some of our questions about First Nations people.
