Hello grade 1’s! I was so excited to see your DOT post. My students and I celebrated International Dot Day last year and did a bunch of activities. You can read our blog post all about it: http://blogs.wrdsb.ca/gillk/2011/09/16/celebrate-international-dot-day/
Hello Grade 1. I teach prep/one in Australia for IT but I only have them once a week. They have also been part of the International Dot Day but we made our dots using Doodle Buddy on the iPads. They are now shared with some other schools on a global project. My students loved creating their dots. Did you enjoy it? Why? What did you find challenging? Where are your dots now?
Yes, we liked making the dots for Dot Day. The hard part about making dots was making them round instead of an oval and not having bumpy lines. The dots are now on our blog and on the wall in our classroom.
